Project summary

Staff visitor center, answering public inquiries and orienting visitors to the Reserve. Assist with the communication and outreach of education products including displays. Assist with logistics, design, and implementation of estuary and coastal wetland education programs for the public, professionals, and students. Provide trail, canoe, and facility tours.

Opportunity description

Live animal care, including fish, amphibians, and reptiles. Maintain visitor center sanitation schedule and ensure safety protocols are followed to provide clean and safe environment for visitors and staff. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements

Must have GED or high school diploma; be 18 or older by October 8, 2024. Must successfully pass a National Service Criminal History Check (NSCHC). Must be a U.S citizen, national or lawful permanent resident.

Preferred qualifications

Possess a valid driver's license. Have an interest in the environmental field such as, stormwater managment, climate impacts, or urban forestry. Demonstrate maturity and cultural competency. Self-motivated and able to work on a team.
