Project summary
Engage residents and community members in community gardening, maintain outdoor naturescapes, and support Sabin CDC to create a more resilient and sustainable community.
Opportunity description
Increase green space activity and engagement with resident and community volunteers. Improve and maintain the outdoor naturescapes. Organize, facilitate, document, and track data on the impact of Sabin's Pass it On Day program. Support the Strategic Energy Management project. 2 positions available.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Interest and passion for working with diverse groups of people. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to lift 30 lbs unaided. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions and prepare reports. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness/openness to learn about and discuss racial equity and social justice issues.
Preferred qualifications
Experience working with culturally diverse communities, including non-Native English speakers. Task delegation skills. Strong organization skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Driver’s License.
