Project summary
RMYC hires members of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to complete conservation projects in the Albuquerque area as crew. In addition to Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, Children of Deaf Adults (CODA's) and those who are fluent in ASL and Deaf culture are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Opportunity description
ASL Crews will work to safely complete outdoor environmental service projects in their communities. Project work may include trail work, fencing, invasive species removal, historic preservation, or other community improvement work. All Corps Members will receive both personal and professional development training such as First Aid/CPR, Mental Health First Aid, financial management, and public speaking skills.

Requirements
17-30 years old. eligible for AmeriCorps Term of Service. Deaf, Hard of Hearing, Child of Deaf Adult (CODA). Fluent in ASL & Deaf Culture.
Preferred qualifications
No experience required.
