Project summary
The Maryland Climate Corps is part of the Service Year Option and will engage young adult participants in activities that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, build green infrastructure, and improve community resilience to climate disasters. The program will prioritize environmental justice strategies for low-income communities and communities of color who often face the worst effects of climate change.

Join the Maryland Climate Corps, a Service Year Option Program! The Maryland Climate Corps will offer paid service opportunities for Marylanders to get involved protecting their community from the impacts of climate change while receiving workforce training. If you are interested in joining this program please apply through our Maryland Corps/Service Year Option application portal (linked below) and indicate your interest in working on climate issues. The final application deadline is June 15th.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
To be eligible you must have graduated from a Maryland High School or GED program within the past four years (Class of 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024).
Preferred qualifications
No experience required.
