American YouthWorks Conservation Corps Conservation Crews AmeriCorps Members ages 18+ will participate in environmental conservation projects in parks, green spaces, and public lands in Texas and the surrounding region. Members may serve as a resource for state and federal disasters. Members are eligible to receive an AmeriCorps Education Award upon successful program completion.
Opportunity description
American YouthWorks' Texas Conservation Corps (AYW TXCC) is recruiting Asian and Pacific Islander (API) young adults 18 to 35 years old for a Summer 2024 AmeriCorps term of service. The API 2024 Summer crew aims to make environmental careers more accessible for API young adults. Crew members will learn to address environmental issues through the completion of on-site, skills-based projects on public lands. They will have opportunities to explore careers in conservation work.

Requirements
US Citizenship or lawful permanent US Resident. Ability to pass a National Service Criminal History Check.
