Project summary
This position will help to preserve and enhance a community’s natural resources by working on trail development and maintenance, planting trees, removing invasive plant species, cleaning up rivers, streams, and beaches, performing water quality assessments, and leading environmental education workshops and camps for youth.

AmeriCorps NCCC provides you with valuable life experience and skill development while you serve on a team with fellow 18-26 year olds, earn money for college, travel the U.S., and help communities! Training for our Fall 2024 Traditional Corps will be held out our Pacific and Southwest Region campuses located in CA and CO respectively. There are as many as 210 openings for this position.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Must be a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident of the US. Must have a valid driver's license or plan to have one by the time you start. Must pass an initial drug screening test upon arrival to the program.
Preferred qualifications
No experience required.
