The Climate Outreach Coordinator, part of the Arizona Climate Resiliency Corps, will engage directly with local community members, businesses, and organizations to advance carbon neutrality and build community resilience in the City of Flagstaff through the promotion of available energy and resilience resources, programs, and services.

Requirements and qualifications
Requirements
Experience and/or knowledge of climate action and/or sustainability practices. Word-processing, spreadsheet, Internet, PowerPoint, and computer skills. Effective and professional written and oral communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Strong interest in supporting residents, businesses, and organizations in reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to occasionally work evening and weekend hours and limited travel.
Preferred qualifications
Education or experience (volunteer or professional) in one or more of the following areas: communications or marketing, climate or environmental science, sustainability, energy, greenhouse gas accounting or a related field. Fluency in Spanish or other language, in addition to English, is preferred but not required. Familiarity with behavior change strategies.
